Electrical Work

I have several electrical problems and issues to resolve. One is the radio. The original is an AM only radio. We decided to install a digital display, AM/FM radio with cassette that Scott had lying around. We ran the speaker wires back when we installed the ceiling. We have taken out the old radio, soon we'll be installing the new one.

Here you can see the radio face next to the driver's seat. The picture on the right is the radio inside the console next to the driver's seat, under the window.

Another problem was the control panel. It had wires and fuses and buttons and lights and I couldn't tell what anything was! Scott got tired of messing around with the tangle of wires, so he pulled all the unnecessary ones (wires that went to components that were no longer in the bus, like the heater) and replaced some bad wires. This is a picture of the control panel after Scott cleaned it up!

The final problem I have is that the main fuses keep blowing out. I lost most of my electrical components. The headlights and the fans work, but the dome lights, dash lights, turn signals, stairwell light and reverse lights don't. I've repalced the fuses twice now and they keep blowing.

So far, that's all the issues with the electrical system.
